The children’s paintings vividly depict the horror and indescribable pain of the ongoing war in Ukraine, yet each artwork is imbued with faith in victory and gratitude towards our defenders. In total, 35 works were prepared by students of the Sumy Art School for the exhibition “War through the Eyes of Children.” The exhibition took place in the hall of the regional scientific library, showcasing the visions of children aged 7 to 14 about these tragic events.
The event’s purpose was to reignite children’s passion for creativity and encourage them to embrace drawing again. Subsequently, these artworks were sent to a charity auction in London, and the funds collected were directed towards the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, specifically for the purchase of a car.
